PHOTOGRAPHY
- A VERY CREATIVE ACTIVITY -

INTRODUCTION
In my old website I had 6 pages of photos, that stood alone - and which I liked-, but a couple of the pages have later been deleted -
Not because I did NOT like the pics, - but more in order to get more memory space - - - -
Here in my new site I will start again with pages just with pictures - , but pictures that somehow are good - and maybe also tell a story - ore just pictures that make you "tick" or maybe get stunned - or just enjoy - - -
In my old wensite I had the special pics organized in various groups according to content - like "people" - "Nature" - "Architecture" - or whatever - - -
In the future I will NOT sort them like that - - -
Just fill each page with great photos of any categories - photos that I consider good, but of course I am aware of the fact, that what I consider good -is NOT necessarily what other people consider good or interesting - - - :-) :-) :-)
It is also my attention to show pictures and add some information about the cameras I use, because I know that some people will be very interested to know more about that - - -
Actually I have not just one Canon F 1 , but 3 - - -
The photo is taken onboard "Stolt Capability" - I think - and what a toy the little one got there when he joined me onboard a big chemical tanker - and sailed around the world - - -
Later on - when he was much older I demonstrated for him how he could activate the stop down lever - and thereby directly see in the viewfinder how the depth of field could be controlled, just by turning the aperture ring - - -
There were of course other things to consider, but in those old cameras you actually only had to set 3 things before you pressed the shutter: 1) The film speed - - 2) The aperture - - and 3) - - the shutter speed - -
Compare that with the digital cameras of today, where you have the option of selecting meny after meny - and it never stops -, but STILL you only need those 3 things, - film speed - aperture and shutter speed - - -
I am sure that this photo was taken by Kit Yu, when we raced out on the "Lillebaelt" - in my fast speed boat "Wobbegong" - in order to meet the yearly fleet of traditional sailing ships during their "race" around our island - Fyn - - -
And YES - it is one of my F 1's - - - -
It took me some time to shift to digital, because I did not like them, but when Kodak suddenly one day announced, that they would now stop producing their Kodachrome films - and I surrendered - NO Kodachromes - NO film photos - - -
And there in the beginning of this century I finally gave up my struggle for film based photography - and went digital - -
But for now - please go through my coming pages with photos I like - and find good - or even great - - - :-) :-) :-)
