This is actually a great shot for showing the beauty - and the wealth - of Hong Kong - - -
This photo is of course belonging to a series of pictures from this particular trip, - and one of these days I will find the context to which the photo belongs - and make the full story - - -
If my memory serves me well - and it usually does - this photo is from a hike along one of the trails on Hong Kong island - - -
I had dropped of the bus at Wong Nei Chung Gap - a pass - and the only place from where it is possible to cross Hong Kong island - over the mountains - instead of driving all the way around along the coastal roads -
From Wong Nei Chung gap I entered the system of anscient foot paths over the mountains, - and I am sure that this photo is from such a hike - - -
And it shows it all: The beauty and the wealth of Hong Kong - in a very nice sub-tropical setting - - -

1977-03-041 - The site in Victoria Harbour where the liner - RMS "Queen Elizabeth" burned and sank
You do not see any remails of the "Queen Elizabeth", but there are still wreckage under the surface - - -
After she burned, - I did hire a water taxi - and went out to the huge wreck in order to photograph it before it was scrapped and turned into bits and pieces - - -
There will be a series of pics about that event too - - - Or have I already published those pics?
Well - if not - then certainly I will publish them - - -
But otherwise I will use this "Hong Kong Mix" page for pics that have still not found a context to where they belong - - - Or just for single pics, - that are good and tells a story - or convey a "feeling" - and that's what photography is all about - right?
