Again: At the moment I cannot say when I took this photo, but it is clearly at the jade market, - and in that case it is from the Kowloon side. (Photo- and copyright: Karsten Petersen)sui

Hong Kong fortune teller - date and place not known at the moment. I do - however - have a feeling that it could be from the Wong Tai Sin temple, which has a long curved alleyway full of fortune tellers, - and therefore it could be in the seventies. - (Photo- and copyright: Karsten Petersen)

Note:

The last 9 pictures - that I cannot identify when i comes to date and place - are only 4-500 pixels wide -

That means, that if I have to follow the usual standard of quality - 300 DPI - then the photos should be no bigger than 3 - 4 centimeters if the human eye should see the pictures clearly - - -

That - of course - is way too small for the computer screen, - or for printing - so I have used every known trick in the book to improve on the quality - and the result is reasonable OK, but I would for sure prefer to scan them again in order to deliver a reasonable size - and in good quality.

That - however - has to wait until I find the original dia positives, - and then I can scam the pics in a better quality - and I can identify where and when they were taken - - -

I will have it in mind, but for now - let's wait and see what the future might bring - and slowly, slowly my new web site will be improved when I make new scans in good resolution - - -

But right now- the drill is just to transfer pics from my old web site to my new - and then improve them in the process , and that seems to work fine in most cases, but ALL pics are being considerably improved, so the new website really will be better to digest and enjoy - - -
