Take note of the open fire place, which made me worry quite a lot due to the obvious fire hazard, taking into consideration, that the traditional Dong houses are huge, - made from wood, and built very close to each other.

Normally men and women do not eat together at the same table in the Dong community, but they are easy going and flexible people, and did not mind at all that Kit Yu joined us.

Obviously they realized, that she was needed as interpreter of what I said, and also they seemed to enjoy that a real "Foreign Devil" truly enjoyed their company and hospitality, - and they too needed Kit Yu to translate when they talked to me, - so we had great fun - -
