Impressions from a hike to the top of Pirobong, done in the autumn of year 2000 - -
All beautiful mountains in Korea have a temple,- or actually several temples scattered over the hill sides. That goes for the Chiaksan area as well - - -
Here the wonderful building with the temple guardians of the Kyryongsa temple , which is the starting point of one of many trails leading up to the highest peak, - the Pirobong - -

And being the only foreigner there, the Koreans start to spoil me completely! All want to give me something to eat, - something to drink - or just ask from where I came - - -
BIG smiles all over - and VERY friendly people - very happy that I love their beautiful country so much - - - Even so much that I will spend time climbing their beautiful mountain - Pirobong -
