Here comes a series of pictures from a trip with "Nordboen", where she is "at work" - - -

It must be kept in mind, that "Nordboen" was not just for fun, but a serious business intended to make a living by taking sailing ship enthusiasts on scenic and interesting trips around the beautiful Danish islands.

The following pictures are taken on such a trip, with a load of German tourists getting the "feeling" and learning how such a traditional ships works.

It is end of season,- October 1988 -, and the tourists got good value for their money with various types of weather changing from calm, sparkling sunshine and clear blue sky, as well as more rough weather with winds up to about 15 meters per second.

They very soon learn, that if they want to hoist a big sail alone, - they can't do it -, but if 2 or more do it together, - and they haul in the same direction -, then the miracle happens:  Sail goes up!
