A beautiful old-timer of the Singapore based Pacific International Line - PIL - here photographed off Bombay, India, - January 1982.

She was built as "Hallvard"- for Norvegian flag - by Lindholmens Varv in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1954 and became M/S "Kota Melur" in 1977, when Singapore based PIL took over and renamed her M/S "Kota Melur".

DWT: 6500 tons, - Length overall: 129,0 M, - Beam: 16,5 M

Engine:  Diesel, - speed: 14,5 knots

Scrapped in Gadani Beach 1982.
