The Webmaster was born at 09:50 in the morning of March 6, 1946 - in the Danish coastal city of Kolding - - -

Believe it or not, but this is the Webmaster as a small boy.  I do not know how old I was exactly at that time, but this is the youngest image of myself I can find - - -

Here is another one of the Webmaster at a young age, - together with his big sister - and held by the proud parents - - -

Ancient history

When the human animal walked out of Africa for 50.000 years ago, it would be the easiest way for my ancestors to walk around the Mediteranean, - and then continue north into Europe, - and eventually end up in what is today's Denmark - - -

But in my case this was NOT the way it actually happened!

A few years ago "National Geographic" launched a big project, the purpose of which was, to map the travel of the human animal out of Africa and out to the most remote corners of the World, - and NG invited their members to submit DNA samples in order to follow their tracks. Being a great and loyal fan of "National Geographic" I decided to help with the project.

However, I had no doubt about thr route my ancestors took out of Africa!  Of course they went straight north and followed the melting ice wall from the last ice age until they settled in what is now known as Denmark - - -

And being a typical Nordic type, - tall, blond and with blue eyes - there should not be much doubt about that!

But how wrong could I be?`???   Actually my ancestors did NOT just walk around the Mediteranean and then continued north!  No - they went straigth east - - -

And they continued so far east, that they ended in the middle of China! Here my branch of the group made a U-turn, - 180 degrees - and started to walk back again - west - towards Europe -until they reached the Atlantic ocean in Spain or France.  And then they continued their long walk towards north following the ice wall from last ice age - - -

And here I am!!!!  :-)

But there is more!  My DNA analysis showed another interesting thing!  All people in Europe have DNA inherited from our neanderthal ancestors, - an so have I -, but I also have something else!  My DNA analysis showed that I hade more than twice the amount of Denisovan DNA than Neanderthal DNA - - - (?????)

Here I have to explain what a Denisovan is!  A Denisovan is simply the Far Eastern ancestor to Chinese and other Far eastern people, just like the Neanderthals are the ancestors to the European people - - - - -

And more interesting:  I read an article about the Denisovans, and according to the writer, there are NO Denisovan DNA registered west of the Ural mountains - - - - ??????

But here am I with more than double Denisovan DNA compared to my Neanderthal DNA - - ?????  And I am west of Ural????? Hmmmmm - - -

And there is more!  My dear wife - Kit Yu - often look at me and say:  You are NOT a "Gwei-Lo" - you are Chinese - - -

I do of course tell her, that I am a "Gwei Lo" with my blond hair and my blue eyes and being tall - - - NO doubt about it - - -

But now my DNA test clearly shows me, that Kit Yu is actually right, with me having more than twice the amount of DNA coming from Denisovans, - compared to my amount of Neanderthal DNA - - -

So, - what am I?????  I have Neanderthal DNA in me - like all other Europeans - and I have even more Denisovan DNA - like the Chinese and other Far Eastern people ?

Well, - I am of course a Homo Sapiens, and as a Homo Sapiens I belong to the sub species:  Caucasian - northern european - scandinavian- - -

Hence I am neither a Neanderthaler nor a Denisovan although I have traces of their DNA in me, - but I am a Homo Sapiens - like all other living people on this planet - - - -
